Perich Named To Hornung Award Watch List
Perich enters his first season at Oregon after posting 82 tackles, 499 kickoff return yards and 118 punt return yards at Minnesota.
On Monday, Oregon defensive back Koi Perich and Mountaineers wide receiver Epps were named to the 2026 Paul Hornung Award watch list, presented to the nation's most versatile player.
The Paul Hornung Award recognizes college football's most versatile athletes, with past winners including former Mountaineer Tavon Austin, Colorado's Travis Hunter, Penn State's Saquon Barkley, and Stanford University's Christian McCaffrey.
In 2025, Perich recorded 82 total tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, and one interception returned 27 yards for a touchdown while contributing 499 yards on 19 kickoffs and 118 yards on 18 punts.
Epps joins the Mountaineers this season from Troy, where he accumulated 1,088 career all-purpose yards across 13 games, and is projected as the starting slot receiver for 2026.
The Ducks prepare for their 2026 season opener against Boise State on Saturday, Sept. 5, in Autzen Stadium as Perich begins his first season at Oregon during fall camp.
