The Russian capital is facing a drone attack, according to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. Since 5:00 am on Sunday, Russian air defenses have shot down at least 29 drones, he wrote on Telegram. He did not report any damage or injuries, but spoke of the work of rescue workers at the site of the debris.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced that nearly 300 drones had approached the capital in the past 24 hours, most of which were neutralized by air defense systems, and 45 were shot down. The attack was recorded as the largest drone attack in recent years.
Over 350 drones have targeted the region of Moscow in the last two days, generating delays in air transport and pressure on the energy sector.
