The Government approved on Thursday, by decision, the methodological rules for the application of Article XVII of UGO No 7/2026, laying down the procedural framework necessary for the implementation of the measure suspending the exercise of the right to conduct in the event of the non-acquisition of fines in contravention of the rules on movement on public roads.
Drivers who do not pay their road tickets within 90 days may have the permit suspended, in accordance with the methodological rules approved by the Government on Thursday. The regulatory act sets out the procedure by which the authorities will apply the measure, the manner in which the suspension period is calculated and the situations in which it cannot be ordered.
