On Wednesday afternoon, a cyclist crashed in St. Gallen after he was overtaken by a motorist. The condition of the man, who was initially approachable, worsened increasingly in the ambulance, after which he died shortly afterwards in the hospital.
A 46-year-old racing cyclist was caught by a car at Rödental (Coburg County) and severely injured. According to the police, a 19-year-old driver did not keep the necessary safety distance when overtaking. Accordingly, the 19-year-old overtook two cyclists on Wednesday morning.
