Reigning world champion Lando Norris believes motorsport federation FIA must take action against Franco Colapinto. In Baku, the Alpine driver took out not only himself, but also his own teammate Pierre Gasly and Norris with a kamikaze move.
McLaren’s driver harshly questioned the Argentine’s maneuver in re-launching the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The accident also left Pierre Gasly out of the race.
After the initial boredom, things got exciting at the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Several drivers were unable to finish the race in Baku due to accidents, the most unfortunate being Lando Norris, who crashed out through no fault of his own. The defending world champion did not hold back after the crash.
The race ended without any points and prematurely. Reigning Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris of McLaren did not finish the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. He was involved in a three-car accident caused by Franco Colapinto of Alpine. Norris did not spare criticism of his Argentine rival after the race. He called for an exemplary punishment and suggested that the 23-year-old driver had no business in Formula 1.
