The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is not facing only one epidemic on the health front. In addition to Ebola, which was declared on May 15, the country has been facing a cholera epidemic situation since 2022. Although the disease is endemic in this region, the figures provided by the World Health Organization are particularly worrisome. Since the beginning of 2026, 106,401 cases have been registered for 3,124 deaths.
