WEST MIDLANDS, ENGLAND, JUL 22 – Drake confirmed his upcoming solo album Iceman during a sold-out Birmingham show, following his lead single that addresses tensions from his feud with Kendrick Lamar.
- At Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on July 11, Drake kicked off his $ome $exy $ongs 4 EU Tour, confirming the album title 'Iceman' to the sold-out crowd.
- Back in February while touring Australia, Drake gave the first hint, telling fans `Eventually, when the time is right...` on that Australia stop, as soured relationships from his feud with Kendrick Lamar first emerged.
- On July 5, Drake released the lead single `What Did I Miss?`, which debuted at No. on the Billboard Hot 100 and addresses fallout from his feud with Kendrick Lamar.
- Reacting to fan chants, he acknowledged the crowd with a smirk, and Drake said `I’m working on my album, Iceman, we got a lot to talk about`.
