Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Confirms U.S. Release Date & New Streaming Platform
Crunchyroll will stream subtitled episodes in 11 regions, while Netflix gets the premiere episode nearly a week later.
- On Sunday, Oct 11, Crunchyroll will begin streaming subtitled episodes of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus across the United States, Canada, Latin America, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
- The series retreads content from the Battle of Gods and Resurrection movies, marking the fourth time fans will experience these story arcs involving Goku, Whis, and Destruction Beerus.
- Crunchyroll confirmed only subtitled episodes are available, with the content launching nearly one week before the Netflix premiere on Oct 17.
- International audiences gain access simultaneously with the Oct 11 premiere in Japan, though other projects announced earlier this year remain without confirmed dates.
- Industry observers question if the latest "Debut" represents a necessary revival or diminishing returns, as the series continues to leverage established characters like the God and his angel companion.
