Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives, Ahmad Sahroni, issued a warning that the ratification of the Asset Confiscation Bill would not necessarily end the polemics that have accompanied it.
The House of Representatives (DPR) has confirmed that the Asset Confiscation Bill is targeted for ratification on December 15, 2026. Commission III emphasized that the regulation must not be used as a tool for abuse of power.
