- Last year, Shipping Solutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sagarmala Finance Corporation Limited to support sustainable coastal and short-sea shipping services, reflecting DP World's broader investment strategy in India's maritime infrastructure.
- Shipping Solutions currently operates across 14 ports with a dedicated fleet of 10 vessels, having handled more than 473,000 TEUs in 2025 while connecting major manufacturing centers and reducing road network pressure.
- Ganesh Raj, Global Chief Operating Officer of Marine Services at DP World, said coastal shipping "presents a significant opportunity to improve supply chain efficiency and support sustainable economic growth."
