Downed lines and a cracked pole reported Tuesday on the corner of Maple and Fort Bayard streets in Santa Clara have caused those roads to be closed to the public until the issue is fixed. “We had an incident where a dump truck didn’t fully lower his bed, and it latched onto one of the cables and pulled them down,” Fire Chief Larry Montoya said.
