The Ethics Committee of the Parliament, with votes from the New Democracy, made a negative recommendation for lifting the immunity of Avgenakis and Lazaridis. ND voted against lifting the immunity of its MPs in both cases, while the opposition parties voted in favor of lifting it for both.
