The administrative court in Paris rejected Beauvau's argument that Doualemn's presence in France "would pose an immediate risk to the point of justifying his expulsion in absolute urgency." The man remains likely to be returned to Algeria.

Since the court did not rule on the application for annulment of a second expulsion order which did not invoke absolute urgency, the Algerian influencer can still be potentially expelled from France.
Boualem Naman, known under the pseudonym "Doualemn", had been arrested in Montpellier for calling for a "severe correction" to an opponent of the Algerian regime in a video posted on the social network TikTok on 4 January 2025.
On 18 September 2026, the Paris Administrative Court annulled the expulsion order made under the absolute emergency procedure against Boualem Naman, known as Doualemn. Consequently, it also annulled the decisions of the same day which withdrew his residence permit and designated Algeria as the country of expulsion.
