Okanagan College invites residents to explore Salmon Arm campus at upcoming event

  • Okanagan College has scheduled an event for Tuesday, Jan. 21 from 3 to 6 p.m., inviting community members, future learners, and alumni to "get a peek behind the scenes" of its Salmon Arm campus.
  • The event is free, but registration is required and can be done through Eventbrite at Doors Open at OC. Alison Gibson, dean of community engagement and careers, said in a media release that they want to give everyone in the community the opportunity to experience OC and are calling it Doors Open at OC.
  • The open house event will allow participants to learn about new and existing programs offered locally and across the region, find out about CampOC, the interactive summer day camps for kids in Grades 1 to 12, enter to win tuition vouchers for InspirED programs and courses, and tour Salmon Arm campus points of pride, including the new student housing that officially opened on Jan. 13.
