Is This the New Karoline Leavitt? Trump Poaches Glamorous Reporter, 24
The 24-year-old former Real America’s Voice correspondent fills a press team gap as the White House still lacks a permanent press secretary.
- The Trump Administration hired Real America's Voice Senior White House Correspondent Beni Rae Harmony as Asst White House Press Secretary, with Harmony confirming her appointment on X Friday evening after TMZ reported the news earlier that day.
- Harmony's appointment follows the departure of White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who stepped down at the end of August to prioritize her two young children.
- President Trump praised Leavitt's service and noted she will remain a TOP advisor and influential voice within the Republican Party, though Leavitt wrote she made the "bittersweet decision" to depart to focus on family.
- The White House has not yet named a replacement for Leavitt, leaving the press secretary position vacant while Vice President Vance and other administration officials conduct press briefings in the interim.
- Since September 2025, Harmony served as a correspondent for the conservative network Real America's Voice, stating she is "incredibly grateful to President Trump for this opportunity" to serve Americans and the American Dream.
