Rest in peace, Dolly Parton
I was saddened today to learn that Dolly Parton has passed away.I've always admired Dolly for her humor, her wit, and her generous heart. She never forgot her roots, and strove to improve the lives and economic opportunities of her home region by opening Dollywood, among much else.Since her husband of sixty years passed away less than 18 months ago, I suspect Dolly just lost the heart to go on.Rest in peace, Ms. Parton.
