- On Saturday, July 19, 2025, in a Naples, Florida apartment, Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman’s 13-year-old step-grandson Anthony Zecca was accidentally shot and killed by his stepfather, Gregory Zecca.
- In what police officers called an “isolated incident”, Gregory Zecca accidentally shot his son Anthony, police told TMZ.
- Responding officers arrived around 8 PM ET and found Anthony with a neck gunshot wound, and first responders performed CPR but were unable to save him.
- As of now, police said no arrests have been made, and detectives said the investigation includes witness statements, forensic testing, subpoenas, and search warrants.
