MARQUETTE COUNTY, MI – An animal-on-animal bite complaint escalated into a 13-hour standoff and the death of one dog over the weekend near Marquette, police said.At 8:50 p.m. on Saturday, the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Police responded to residences on Carlshend Road in Skandia, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. The complainant reported that his neighbor’s dog had attacked and bitten his donkey.
