UNITED KINGDOM, JUL 11 – Ncuti Gatwa, aged 32, cited the demanding physical and mental challenges of playing the Fifteenth Doctor as reasons for his early exit after two seasons, BBC reported.
- On BBC Radio 4's Today programme, Ncuti Gatwa revealed `I just don't know who the next Doctor Who is, but it's certainly not me`, citing his departure due to role demands.
- On BBC’s Sunday With Laura Kuenssberg, Gatwa explained he quit because `I'm getting old, and my body was tired`, citing role demands and physical tolls.
