Doctor who walked around naked in front of women at his family practice gets license revoked
BLYTHEVILLE, ARKANSAS, AUG 9 – Dr. David Diffine lost his license after a unanimous board vote found he violated medical conduct laws by exposing staff to sexual acts and harassment, officials said.
- On Friday, the Arkansas State Medical Board decided to suspend Dr. David Diffine's medical license for five years following the release of videos showing him nude and engaging in a sexual act at his office in Blytheville in 2019.
- The decision followed a complaint and investigation revealing inappropriate sexual conduct with three women who were both staff and patients, along with Diffine’s walking around naked at the clinic.
- Multiple witnesses testified to seeing Diffine naked, supported by security footage showing him walking through the hallway and reception area unclothed, as well as accounts describing him engaging in sexual behavior with a female employee who was also a patient.
- Board member Dr. Brian McGee stated, "There is no medical school, residency... where this behavior is tolerated," and the board acted unanimously to protect future patients.
- Diffine accepted full responsibility but has the chance to regain his license in August 2030, with the board emphasizing their ruling prevents future harm to patients.
