Doctor and Nurses Arrested for Drunken Driving

A weekend crackdown in Port Shepstone arrested 110 motorists for drunk driving, including professionals, as KwaZulu-Natal records 399 arrests since mid-August, officials said.

The MEC for Transport and Human Settlements in KwaZulu-Natal expressed disappointment that a doctor and nurses were among those arrested for drunken driving in Port Shepstone on the weekend. According to Siboniso Duma, 110 road traffic offenders were arrested by the Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI)  in Port Shepstone between 27 and 29 September.
