'Do not eat' warning to shoppers at Tesco and Waitrose as recall issued
The company said fewer than 10 units were affected and advised customers with hazelnut or soya allergies to return the dessert for a refund.
Shoppers at Tesco and Waitrose have been issued a "do not eat" warning after Gü's Double Sea Salted Caramel Frozen Dessert was recalled for undeclared hazelnuts and soya.
The affected product has a lot number of 126135 and a best before date of June 30, 2027, with the issue believed to affect less than 10 units.
Separately, the Food Standards Agency issued a recall for Morrisons Savers Cashews sold in 125g packs across England, Scotland, and Wales due to possible presence of glass.
Customers who purchased affected products should not consume them and must return items to the nearest store for a full refund, officials advise.
A company representative said, "We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety.
