In a statement regarding claims that "Somalia has imposed visa restrictions on Turkish citizens," DMM stated, "There have been no changes to the existing conditions for citizens of both countries traveling between Turkey and Somalia."

The Presidency of Communications' Center for Combating Disinformation announced that claims that "Somalia has imposed visa restrictions on Turkish citizens" do not reflect the truth and are clearly manipulative.

The Presidency's Communications Directorate's Disinformation Center announced that there have been no changes to visa regulations between Türkiye and Somalia.
