OROVILLE — With the District Fire burning Friday afternoon, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office issued evacuation orders in the Palermo area. The fire started in 170 block of District Center Drive at about 12:13 p.m. and rapidly grew to 20 acres in about 15 minutes. It had tripled that size within an hour.
