District Attorney Clears Antioch Police in Fatal Shooting of Knife-Wielding Man
The Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office released a report concluding that Antioch police officers acted in lawful self-defense and defense of others in the June 30, 2025, fatal shooting of David Wali Bahrami, who had a history of mental illness and had previously been placed under a Welfare and Institutions Code section 5150 hold.
