A hydro pole was powered down following a single-vehicle collision by a distracted driver. The Sicamous RCMP responded to the crash at 6 a.m. on June 18 after receiving a report of a hydro pole and wires down on Seed Frontage Road at the east end of town after a pickup truck hit the pole.
