Following the scandal over the alleged acts of corruption by national government officials and in parallel with the rejection of the presidential veto on the National Government's Disability Emergency Act, the Provincial Association of Institutions for Persons with Disabilities (Apridis) requested that pension audits be suspended and re-granted until the case of the coimas investigated in the area is reversed.
Since December 2023, when Javier Milei took office, ANDIS is going through a budget cut that hits the collective directly. “The reduction in staff resulted in a bad division of tasks because each of the employees left we have much more workload,” warned workers, who estimate at least 500 fewer jobs in different areas.
