As pointed out by Minister Flávio Dino of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), as responsible for acting in favor of the PL president, Valdemar Costa Neto, in the indication of parliamentary amendments, Mariângela Fialek, known as Tuca, became the target of searches by the Federal Police in December last year. The operation revealed suspicions of undue targeting of resources sent by the deputies to their electoral districts.

The Brazilian Supreme Federal Court today determined the blockade of 119 million reals (34 million euros) in the assets of the national president of the Liberal Party, suspected of indicating amendments, even if not being a deputy.
Minister Dino pointed out the suspicion that Valdemar may have made irregular indications of amendments even without a warrant. Valdemar is a former federal deputy.

Supreme Federal Court (STF) Justice Flávio Dino ruled on Friday (10) to suspend the execution of parliamentary amendments that, according to an investigation by the Federal Police (PF), were allegedly irregularly indicated by the national president of the PL, Valdemar Costa Neto. The decision also orders the freezing of the party leader's assets up to the limit.
