- Investigators discovered the network uploaded forged documents, including fake court orders, to establish credibility in more than 200 cases, with evidence suggesting the infrastructure operates from both India and abroad.
- Authorities arrested Naresh from Chennai and Sanjib Saha from Kolkata for allegedly creating shell companies and mule bank accounts used to launder about Rs 2 crore in suspected proceeds of crime.
- Officials are now analyzing seized digital devices and documents, while alerting foreign law enforcement agencies after finding evidence the network also defrauded nationals of several other countries.
