Slovenian motocross rider Tim Gajser took second place at the World Championship race in Pietramurata, Italy, after being fourth in the first race and winning the second. The overall victory went to Dutchman Jeffrey Herlings. The other Slovenian representative in the strongest MXGP class, Jan Pancar, was 14th.
The Slovenian motocross rider will start the World Championship race in Pietramurata from the fifth qualifying position, Jan Pancer 25th. Lucas Coenen was the fastest.

Jeffrey had a bad start, came from tenth to fourth then crashed and had to come from 21st to ninth in the qualifying race at Arco but lost eight points to Lucas Coenen in the championship.
