The wholesale price of gasoline rose above the psychologically acceptable 600 forints per liter on Tuesday, while diesel prices also increased by more than 10 forints in the space of a few days, reaching the 630 forint mark. Meanwhile, more and more gas stations are becoming loss-making, and the government has not yet decided whether to intervene in the process.
