Diesel and jet fuel power Oman refinery gains in Q1

Muscat: The statistics revealed that production of regular (91) octane gasoline fell sharply by 22.8 percent to 3.421 million barrels during the first quarter of 2026, compared to 4.434 million barrels in the same period of 2025. Sales of the fuel also dipped by 1.5 percent to 3.791 million barrels, while exports plunged by 61.5 percent to 415,400 barrels.
