Alessandra Rojo de la Vega, mayor of Cuauhtémoc, filed a formal complaint with the Attorney General’s Office of Justice of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) as she claims to have been the victim of physical and verbal assaults in the vicinity of San Cosme Avenue. According to reports from the authorities, the official was in the area to deal directly with complaints from neighbors demanding the supply of water.
The Black MP said it was personal of the Cuauhtémoc mayor's office who tried to remove the merchants "in a very violent way."
