Bloomberg reports Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Vodafone and Telefonica are in early talks to jointly bid for EU satellite spectrum meant to build a European rival to Starlink. The twist: Deutsche Telekom already partnered with Starlink itself in March 2026, and three of the four telcos are already tied up in a separate satellite venture with AST SpaceMobile.
