A search is underway for a missing 83-year-old boatie after he failed to return to a ramp at Logan, Queensland.

Police have concluded a marine search and rescue operation off Carbrook Boat Ramp, following the discovery of a man deceased this morning, 6 August. Just before 6pm last night, 5 August, police were called in relation to a missing 83-year-old man who had departed from the Carbrook boat-ramp on his vessel earlier that day but failed to return at 3pm as planned.
