HACC Sets Bail for 3 Suspects in Poltava Region Road Repair Case

The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court applied precautionary measures to three suspects in criminal proceedings concerning the repair of roads in Poltava region. The court set bail from UAH 998.4 thousand to UAH 14.976 million and imposed a number of procedural obligations on the suspects.
According to the investigation, the total amount of ill-gotten benefits is more than UAH 29.9 million
NABU and SAP have expanded the circle of suspects in the corruption scheme during the repair of roads in the Poltava region. The suspicions were reported to the former Deputy Chairman of the Poltava Regional Council, a deputy and an official of the Poltava City Council and two representatives of contracting companies. In total, nine people are suspected in the case.
