Deputies jump into creek to save driver after critical crash near NPF fairgrounds

DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- A driver is in critical condition after their car crashed into a Houston County creek Tuesday morning. The crash occurred on Highway 231 south, near the nine mile marker, at around 10:00 a.m. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency say a car was traveling north on the highway when it crossed the center line and crashed into a passing truck.
