Denmark to exempt children of diplomats from 'obligatory work' rule

The children of diplomats are to be exempted from a Danish rule requiring certain immigrants who receive social welfare benefits to work at unskilled municipal jobs.

Groups covered by the work obligation are shrinking once again. But the government insists that Danes living abroad and their children must be covered.
