Twins Crushed by Red Sox in Series Finale

MINNESOTA, JUL 31 – Boston Red Sox hit four home runs and recorded 16 hits while limiting the Twins to five hits in a 13-1 series-clinching victory, six players contributed RBIs.

The Minnesota Twins were crushed by the Boston Red Sox 13-1 in their series rubber match on Wednesday afternoon. Zebby Matthews gave up five runs over 4 ⅓ innings of work and was tagged with the loss. The bullpen would throw 4 ⅔ innings, giving up eight runs.
