Democrats tearing down statues are also ‘rewriting history’

Re “Trump’s attempt to rewrite nation’s history is Orwellian” (Feb. 27): I noticed the letter writer did not remind us of the tearing down of statues and the renaming of military installations and even high schools that occurred in the past few years. If memory serves, these changes were driven entirely by Democratic leaders at the federal, state and local level. Weren’t they rewriting history as well? Seems like that was conveniently left out b…
