- Tejano singer-turned-politician Bobby Pulido leads Republican Representative Monica De La Cruz by 5% in the 15th District, while Democratic U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico holds an 8% lead over Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton across the three districts.
- Last Saturday, Pulido, Talarico, and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Gina Hinojosa rallied in Beeville, with Pulido stating he is "running to put South Texas first" in response to the poll's release.
- Strategist Mike Madrid attributed the shifts to economic frustration rather than permanent realignment, though analyst Nate Silver cautioned against over-interpreting single results given Texas polling's mixed predictive track record.
