Democrat candidates speak to local party

Two candidates for state political offices spoke Thursday night at the Cherokee County Democrat Central Committee monthly meeting. State Senator Cindy Holscher, a candidate for Governor, spoke about issues facing the state and Don Coover, of Coffeyville, not yet an announced candidate but said he would be shortly, is a veterinarian and former West Point graduate.
