Successive fuel price increases have raised costs, changing citizens' car preferences. Those wanting to save on fuel costs have turned to electric vehicles. The possibility of charging at home has been a major factor in this choice. Increased demand for electric models in the used car market has also led to higher prices.
While the cost of driving 100 kilometers in a gasoline car approaches 592 Turkish Lira, it rises to 570 Lira for diesel and 371 Lira for LPG.
