DEM Party Group Deputy Chairman Sezai Temelli said: “The detention of dozens of revolutionaries through operations carried out in 11 Istanbul-based provinces is a systematic intimidation of those who speak out against the opposition and repression. This policy of deterrence of the people and socialists of the government must end immediately, and all detained revolutionaries must be released,” he said.
The DEM Party reacted to the detentions within the scope of the "My Family is Safe" operations, stating that "Conducting the Peace and Democratic Society Process by talking about peace on the one hand and narrowing the democratic space on the other will not be credible or trustworthy in the eyes of the public."
DEM Party member Ayşegül Doğan reacted to the "My Family is Safe" operations, saying, "Someone observing what is happening from afar could conclude that it is aimed at undermining the Peace and Democratic Society Process."
