- Modelled on Aldi's successful partnerships with DoorDash, Deliveroo's parent company, in the United States and Australia, the trial builds on proven international demand for affordable rapid delivery groceries.
- Customers can order around 2,000 Aldi products including fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy and Specialbuys, with Aldi claiming lower prices than competing rapid delivery services; Deliveroo Riders can participate optionally outside peak mealtimes.
