- Eligible beneficiaries must submit applications within 30 days of obtaining their Registration Certificate, with the Delhi Government aiming to transfer subsidies via Direct Benefit Transfer within 60 days using Aadhaar and Voter ID documentation.
- To support this transition, the Delhi Government will develop more than 32,000 public charging points across the city by 2030, ensuring convenient and reliable charging facilities for residents throughout Delhi.
- Gupta called upon vehicle manufacturers, dealers, and power distribution companies to actively support the charging network expansion and make affordable electric vehicle models available to citizens.
