- DDCA secretary Ashok Sharma stated the association received instructions to open stadium gates earlier and prevent road congestion, while confirming they have been assured necessary support from Delhi Traffic Police.
- The three-match series, hosted by the Afghanistan Cricket Board , includes fixtures on September 13, 15, and 17. The DDCA informed ACB about the ongoing difficulty, though no formal shift has occurred.
- Separately, the Men's Selection Committee announced Yash Thakur as a replacement for injured pacer Harshit Rana in India's squad for the T20I series and the 2026 Asian Games.
