Delhi blast: NIA arrests 7th accused, Soyab, for harbouring terrorist Umar Un Nabi

Soyab, the seventh accused, allegedly provided shelter and logistical aid to Umar un Nabi, the suspected suicide bomber in the Red Fort attack that killed 13, the NIA said.

  • The NIA on Wednesday conducted searches across states, arrested four more persons, and remanded alleged co‑conspirator Jasir Bilal to 13 days of custody, the agency said.
  • Intelligence indicated elements linked to Jamaat‑e‑Islami were active, prompting Jammu and Kashmir Police to raid more than 300 locations and recover 2,900 kg of IED‑making material.
