VIDEO - Day of strike in national education on Tuesday. Teachers are called to protest to denounce the abolition of posts at the beginning of the school year.
The trade unions denounce, as part of a week of actions started on Monday, the abolition of more than 4,000 posts in the coming year and the non-revalorisation of the profession's salary. They also fear thousands of class closures with the new school cards.
A national education union is calling on teachers to strike on Tuesday to challenge job cuts and demand an increase in salaries. According to the ministry at midday, 7.56% of professionals are on strike, 25% in the second degree, affirms the Snes-FSU.
The teachers' unions in the 1st and 2nd degrees denounce, among other things, the government's budgetary choices which are based on the demographic decline in order to impose abolitions of teaching posts. Some will be on strike and will be demonstrating this Tuesday in Saône-et-Loire.
