Several embankment fires, an overhead line fault and a bomb defence caused problems for travellers in northern Germany. Trains were diverted, some of them had considerable delays.

On Monday afternoons and evenings there are some delays in train traffic in the Hürth-Kalscheur area. These trains between Bonn and Cologne are affected.

A system crash and heat effects disturb in many places the rail traffic of the northern German provider Metronom. An end is not yet foreseeable.
